Accommodation in Sabi Sand Game Reserve
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is privately owned by various owners and shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. There are more than 50 different camps and lodges available, and the rates vary greatly from lodge to lodge. The list of lodges below is not exhaustive, but these are some of our favourite game lodges in different price ranges, based on our personal experiences at each lodge.
The Sabi Sand is broadly divided into two sections, the northern sector and the southern sector. It is not wise to visit a lodge in the north and another lodge in the south on the same trip, as you will not be able to transfer directly between these sectors. You would have to exit the game reserve and drive around, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. Generally speaking, the more affordable lodges are situated in the northern section of the Sabi Sand.
Lodge prices range from below $500 USD pp per night to over $2000 USD pp per night. We add no booking fees and our best price guarantee means you'll always pay the lowest rate when booking via Wild Wings.
