Choice of accommodation

Elephant Plains offers a choice of 6 glass-fronted luxury suites and 5 standard rondavels (African-style round bungalow). The suites all have a lounge, en-suite bathroom, inside and outside showers and the intimacy of a private viewing deck. The suites also include air conditioning, a fireplace, mosquito nets, an overhead fan and electronic safes. The rondavels have a sundeck and en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and electronic safes.

Prime game viewing

Game viewing at Elephant Plains is always rewarding, and you have an excellent chance of seeing some of the big cats like lions and leopards. The afternoon game drive continues after sundowners as a night drive with a powerful spotlight, looking for nocturnal animals. A guided bush walk is offered each day.

At leisure

The lodge also offers the chance to relax and unwind in the fitness facility and African Health Spa. Cool down on a hot afternoon in one of the two swimming pools, with a view over the bush. In the evenings, trained rangers will be able to treat you to an evening of stargazing under the magical African sky.
