Some important and well-known towns along the coastal strip include Diani in the south and Kilifi, Malindi, Watamu and Lamu to the north with other popular beach resorts like Kiongwe and Kipini, along the way.
There are several wildlife reserves, like the Malindi Marine Park and Reserve about 118 km north from Mombasa town - with magnificent resources such as fringing reefs, coral gardens in the lagoons, seagrass beds, mangroves, mudflats and an incredible diversity of fish, marine mammals (notably dolphins), turtles and various species of shorebirds.
We have no scheduled safaris to Coastal Kenya but can include one on a tailor-made Kenyan safari itinerary. We recommend spending at least 2 nights on Kenya's coast after your safari. Speak to us about your safari wishlist and we'd be more than happy to design a custom safari to suit your budget and requirements.
