Detailed Itinerary for the Best of East Africa Group Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

  • Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your safari adventure begins.
  • Meet your professional safari guide, who will transfer you to your comfortable overnight accommodation in Nairobi.
  • Relax and prepare for the journey ahead while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Kenya’s capital city.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park Adventure

  • After an early breakfast, travel to Amboseli National Park, famous for its views of Mount Kilimanjaro, large elephant herds and diverse landscapes.
  • Explore Amboseli's savannahs, wetlands, and woodlands, on foot and game drives.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Great Rift Valley

  • Drive to Lake Naivasha, a yellow-barked, fever-tree-lined ancient freshwater lake set against the purple, volcanic complex backdrop of Ol Doinyo Eburru in the Great Rift Valley.

Days 5 and 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Days 8 and 9: Serengeti National Park

  • Explore Serengeti National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife and Great Migration, the annual migration of over a million wildebeest and other plains game.
  • Game drives over vast plains, occasionally interrupted by granite outcrops and scattered acacia woodlands here and there, in search of predators like lions and leopards, as well as massive herds of wildebeest.

    Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater

    Our Best of East Africa Group Tour is a scheduled, small-group safari, guaranteed to depart with two guests minimum. To guarantee everyone has a window seat, the maximum number per group is seven. Airport transfers are as per the itinerary. Day 1 of the itinerary includes an airport pick-up, and Day 11 an airport drop-off. If you arrive earlier and/or leave later as per the itinerary, extra charges for airport transfers apply.
