Take the cable car or hike to the top of Table Mountain for panoramic views over Cape Town, Table Bay, and the Cape Peninsula. It's one of Africa's most iconic natural landmarks and a must-see on any Cape Town itinerary.

Catch the ferry from the V&A Waterfront to visit Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic tour offers powerful insights into South Africa's political past.

Explore the world-renowned wine estates of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek on a guided or self-drive tour. Enjoy wine tastings, cellar tours, and picturesque vineyard scenery just a short drive from Cape Town.

A full-day road trip showcasing the dramatic coastline, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Chapman's Peak Drive, and the famous penguins at Boulders Beach. Available as a private tour, scheduled group tour, or self-drive.

For thrill-seekers, shark cage diving in Gansbaai or False Bay offers an adrenaline-filled encounter with great white sharks in their natural environment. Best during the cooler months (May to September).

Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain, this acclaimed botanical garden showcases South Africa's unique flora in a beautiful outdoor setting—perfect for a relaxing afternoon walk or picnic.

Add excitement with optional adventure tours like quad biking, sandboarding in the Atlantis dunes, ziplining through forest canopies, or hiking up Lion's Head for sunrise or sunset.

Discover Cape Town's layered past on a walking tour through the city's historic heart. Includes landmarks like the Castle of Good Hope, Company's Garden, and Greenmarket Square.

For a truly memorable experience, float over the scenic Cape Winelands or countryside at sunrise. A peaceful, bucket-list-worthy way to view the region from above.

Cape Town's popular V&A Waterfront offers great shopping, dining, and entertainment. Don't miss the Two Oceans Aquarium, ideal for families and ocean lovers.

Enjoy a vibrant multi-course African meal with live drumming, storytelling, and traditional dancing. GOLD Restaurant offers a unique culinary journey through the continent's diverse cultures.

You won't be able to do all of these in four nights. We'll help tailor your trip to match your interests and time.

There are several excellent ways to experience the Greater Kruger – from affordable small-group safaris inside Kruger National Park to exclusive lodges in the private game reserves of Greater Kruger.

These are our core suggestions, but we can also tailor a custom mix based on your travel style and budget.

If you're travelling on a tighter budget but still want to stay at a traditional safari lodge in one of the private reserves adjacent to Kruger National Park, let us know. We work with several budget-friendly safari lodges that offer a superb experience without the high price tag.

  • Budget-friendly hotel in Cape Town
  • Our 5-day Best of Kruger small-group, scheduled safari
  • Affordable rental car (smaller group class)
  • 4-star hotel in Cape Town
  • 4-star private safari lodge in Greater Kruger
  • Flexible transport options (self-drive or guided)
  • 5-star hotel in Cape Town
  • Premium private safari lodge in Greater Kruger
  • Fully guided throughout

We don't recommend a self-drive safari in Kruger. All safari stays are fully guided.

Day 9: Final Game Drive and Travel Day

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, you'll be transferred to the nearest airport (Hoedspruit, Skukuza, or Nelspruit KMIA) for your onward flight. Avoid booking international flights before 9 PM on this day.
