The game drives were a dream come true!
Hi Madi, Bateleur was amazing and we could not have asked for a more friendly, professional, beautiful place. Brad, Sophia, Lucky, the rest of the staff welcomed us like family. We were really sad to leave. The rooms were beautiful, the food delicious and the game drives were a dream come true! We saw all the Big Five and more. Blyde River was quirky and different, and Moholoholo was very interesting. Oscar was a great guide and is clearly very passionate about his work. Thank you so much for all the recommendations.

Bateleur Safari Camp - Timbavati
Bateleur Safari Camp is situated in the game-rich Timbavati Private Reserve. All fences between its famous neighbour, Kruger National Park, have been removed so the game can freely roam across this vast wilderness area. It's home to the Big 5, a huge variety of antelope and plains animals, predators, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and over 500 bird species on a 10,000-hectare diverse and scenic traversing area. Unhurried, uncrowded and unscheduled, Bateleur offers a unique, personalised safari experience, with a mix of game drives and bush walks.
