Exceptional Game-Viewing Area
The area around Eagle Island Camp offers superb game- and bird-viewing opportunities. All game-viewing activities on the island are conducted by professional safari guides. Guided game and bird walks can be arranged as well as exploring the waterways by motorised boats, mokoro (dugout canoe) or in the 14-seater sundowner cruiser. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles are conducted between October and March, when water levels are low enough. Enjoy a spectacular aerial view of the Okavango during a private helicopter flight, which is included in your stay. The lodge also now offers a hot-air balloon activity, departing from Kadizora Camp, operational from May to November.
Well-Appointed Camp
The public areas have been fully rebuilt to include a stylish dining area with a pizza oven, a lounge area with an artisan-style bar, a library, a separate campfire area and the popular Fish Eagle bar which is located directly on the water. Local artisans and materials were used throughout the renovations.

Okavango Delta
There are few wild places on Earth that offer the same unique combination of spectacular wildlife, beautiful scenery, palm-fringed waterways, remote islands and vast unspoilt wilderness as Botswana's Okavango Delta. The Okavango swamps are formed by the annual flooding of the Okavango River, which opens into a vast life-giving oasis in Botswana's desert. The delta attracts huge numbers of wildlife due to the permanent water available here.
