Part of the Greater Kruger, the Manyeleti Game Reserve shares unfenced borders with three of South Africa's top safari destinations, the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and the Timbavati Game Reserve. And, while the Manyeleti compares more than favourably with all three of its neighbours in terms of the abundance of game and the quality of the safari experience, the Manyeleti remains a hidden gem and something of a secret safari destination amongst safari insiders.

Because the Manyeleti Game Reserve is not as well known as the Sabi Sand, Timbavati and Kruger National Park with which it shares unfenced borders, the concentration of vehicles in the reserve is minimal, adding to the Manyeleti's unique and authentic safari experience.

24,000 hectares in size, the Manyeleti is home to a wide variety of plains game, hyena, giraffe, zebra, the Big Five, of course, as well as the elusive cheetah and rare wild dog. To fully enjoy the prevalence of wildlife, we recommend a stay of at least two nights at one of Manyeleti's tented camps or safari lodges.

We have a number of tours and safaris that can be customized to include the Manyeleti as a destination. Let us know what your timetable and budget look like and we'd be more than happy to plan your safari in the Manyeleti for you.
