We felt very well taken care of ...
From Sara, USA, travelled with us during June 2016
Madi, Thanks for following up! The trip was great. The service was very good as well. We felt very well taken care of and really enjoyed our final few days in South Africa. Hippo Hollow was great! The kids loved it. We wished we could have seen Biyamiti in the daylight, as it was pretty dark once we got there, but the road to get there was awesome. Thanks for all of your help in organizing everything.
Amazed us at an entirely different level
From Judith & Scott, USA, travelled with us during June 2016
Hi Madi, Now that our travel is complete, we wish to send so many thanks for a fabulous trip. The second week in Kruger with Neil and in Inyati amazed us at an entirely different level than before.
First, I truly appreciated your commemoration of my birthday with a bottle of sparkling wine. It is a celebration I will never forget!
In Kruger, Neil was an educational and entertaining companion who anticipated all our needs. He made heroic efforts to insure we saw all the big 5 in one day, and provided insightful commentary on many aspects of life in the park beyond just those animals. Neil seemed inexhaustible, and travelers were amazed at the spectrum of wildlife we saw in various settings. In addition to his skills as a guide, Neil sets a lovely table and cooks delicious meals! We also appreciated his suggestions while briefly shopping at a roadside market after dropping off other guests at the Protea Hotel. We left Neil's company with many memorable stories about his knowledge and experiences as a guide in the Kruger area as well as our own adventures.
The follow-up experience at Inyati was beyond what we expected in terms of accommodations and service. From the moment we were greeted by Tessa, it felt like a dream. We loved the peacefulness and charm of our chalet itself, the grounds and the common areas. Omega and Roger (our guide and tracker) were amiable, motivated to ensure we saw a variety of wildlife in the best settings and prepared to answer questions about behavior and habitat - always mindful of our safety and comfort. We even appreciated how the Inyati staff placed us with such congenial companions for the drives. The only thing we could wish for is adding more than 24 hours to the day so we could enjoy even more of the experience.
It is important to add that, after talking to other safari travelers during our trip, we gained an even greater appreciation for the planning and selections you provided for this vacation. We think of how little we knew when we started and how all your assistance with the decisions came together to provide two weeks with such variety, quality and value. My only regrets about my own decisions: not making dinner reservations in Cape Town, not packing the right clothes for dinner in Cape Town, and not buying more ostrich eggs at the street market. Last minute, we did hire a guide suggested by a friend for our last day in Johannesburg, and - while she was fine - I can't help but wonder about the superior caliber of the guide you would have provided based on your other fine selections.
Our next task is to make sure we organize our photos and videos - and then don't bore our friends with repeated stories of our wonderful adventure. Thank you again for helping us plan an amazing experience we could not envision at the start. With sincere appreciation, J&S
We had such a great time!
From Jared & Craig, Canada, travelled with us during June 2016
Hi Clare, The trip was awesome. Everything went off without a hitch and we wanted to thank you for not only all of your planning but the excellent choices you made for us across the board. The safari was pretty unbelievable and the hotels were all exactly what we were looking for, and exactly where we wanted to be. We had such a great time and in no small part due to your attention to all of these details. I’m not sure exactly where we would have ended up trying to do it all ourselves.
We really enjoyed having Neil as our safari guide too. The man knows exactly what he’s doing and contributed a lot to the experience. Thanks again for everything. Hopefully we’ll be able to plan something else in the future.
Above and beyond anything we expected
From Molly, Julie & Drew, USA, travelled with us during June 2016
Hi Madi, Thank you for the congratulations, It was a complete an utter amazing surprise. [Molly got engaged on safari with us! - Ed]
I can only say amazing things about this experience. From the start you were so gracious and helpful and in the end planned an experience that will forever follow me.
Where do I start with Frank? From his knowledge of the safari, animals and country to his generous spirit and kind heart I couldn’t say anything more pleasing to describe him. I would and will recommend Wild Wings Safari and Frank for anyone who wants to go on an experience of a lifetime. Frank’s meals were incredible, we were not expecting him to cook them himself.
The road transfer companies were great!!!!! I get motion sickness very quickly, and the men were very understandable and made sure I was okay during the whole ride.
The game viewing, well was above and beyond anything we expected and frank too. We got to see the big 5, twice, 2 lionesses chasing down and killing their prey, a leopard pulling its prey into a tree, a cheetah chasing its prey at full speed (frank about died in excitement and because i was yelling at him to follow, haha), 16 rhino and TONS of elephants! The experience for my mother, in her words, was more than her wildest dreams. It was a soul touching experience! I couldn’t speak more highly of Frank’s abilities in all aspects of the trip and him as a person! We made a friend for life!
Thank you for helping me see this dream come to fruition and having the best employees in the company! We will be back and use Wild Wings Safari again.
A 5-star time was enjoyed!
From Robin & Gillian, UK, travelled with us during May 2016
Wow!! What a great experience we had.
As ever, the Kruger Park is different from the Sabi Sands experience, but they complement each other, with different styles of game viewing. Simon was terrific - again! The transfers were smoothly arranged, and efficient. Arathusa was very good, though the food was not quite "there" - the chef has a very heavy hand when it comes to seasoning.
Overall, a 5-star time was enjoyed by all.
10++ stars!
From Gwen, Tim & Angie, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Clare, this Kruger Combo trip has my highest recommendation! 10++ stars!
The length was perfect; not to short nor too long (for the time available to us), and the combination of 4 nights camp and 2 nights lodge is a perfect first time experience.
Both accommodations/food exceeded our expectations; the people, in both places, were totally awesome! Simon (of course) lived up to his excellent reviews - his expertise and personality added so much to our Kruger adventure. He is definitely a 10++ stars guide! Our mixed age, various nationality group (age 15 - 65+, males and females), thoroughly enjoyed his food, company and guidance.
I will also highly recommend (10++ stars) you and your help in arranging this trip. Your attention to my questions, recommendations for flights (Jo'berg to Kruger and back) and itinerary, were terrific! Everything worked extremely well and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Your choice of the Premier O R Tambo could not have been better! We returned there, after the Kruger, and then used it as our headquarters to explore the region. Wonderful hotel - rooms (terrific hot showers), food and exceptional staff! Easy connections to the Gautrain, Jo'berg, Pretoria and various attractions/shopping. Gwen and I explored on our own (with their help), and had no problems whatsoever - super highly recommend to anyone!
Well - that's about it - you were terrific! and absolutely key to an unforgettable experience, for all of us!! Thank you so much!
I saw the big 5 almost daily
From Ewa, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Madi, I had an amazing time, and everything at Inyati was perfect. My focus was on seeing the animals and each game drive was great. I saw the big 5 almost daily, lots of leopard sightings, lions, even a cheetah. The lodge itself was very efficiently run and the staff were very nice and helpful. The area the lodge is in was great, could see lots of animals across the river and the ground were very pretty. All of the meals were delicious and there were lots of options. The chalet was also wonderful, it was always clean and had a great view of the river, as I had requested. I would definitely recommend Inyati to anyone going to Sabi Sands, and I will probably return there myself in the future.
You were also very helpful through this whole process, so thank you! You were very quick with the turnaround on emails when I had questions about booking options as well as after booking. I'm really glad I booked with you, because all the small details were taken care of and I didn't have to worry about transfers, flights, etc. That was a great relief and made the vacation stress-free once I was there, because I knew everything was taken care of. Really, thank you for your assistance. Next time I'm going to South Africa I will definitely be in touch!
This Safari trip was beyond our expectations ...
From Margalit & Avron, Israel, travelled with us during May 2016
Big 5 + 1 Great (guide) !! This Safari trip was beyond our expectations which were high from the start. Simon is a terrific knowledgeable guide. He has the eyes of a hawk and the instincts of an experienced hunter. He spots the animals and shoots them with his Canon ( the camera of course). And he is also a great cook...
Exceeded our wildest expectations ...
From Deborah & Anna, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Clare, I just wanted to send you and Wild Wings a message of thanks. Due to your patience in arranging our logistics, Anna and I were able to experience the best trip of our lifetime. Our 5 day Kruger safari and 4 night stay at Dulini exceeded our wildest expectations. Simon was a marvelous guide and a great cook as well. My daughter and I very much appreciated Simon's tireless efforts to give us the best animal sightings possible from the Kruger roads. Our best sightings in Kruger matched those among the much more habituated wildlife of Sabi Sand with the exception of the lion/buffalo (and buffalo/lion!) hunts we saw courtesy of outstanding Dulini ranger Fred and tracker Martin. I am so sorry about the loss of the lower Sabie wild dog pack which we experienced personally during our Kruger safari. Hopefully, this virulent distemper strain will not spread further in the African Wild Dog population.
We had a trip of a lifetime ...
From Gabby & Stephanie, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Clare, We both wanted to thank you and let you know how incredibly pleased we were with you and your company. We had a trip of a lifetime with so many precious memories that were made even better by the stress free nature of the trip. Everything went amazingly, from the lodges to the transfers and everything in between, we could not have asked for more. We were so impressed, especially when the change of shark tours occurred, making it super easy for us to understand what was going on and the new arrangements that were made. We can’t thank you enough and would gladly recommend you to anyone looking to book a safari trip!
It was honestly the time of our lives
From Jacqueline & Aaron, USA, travelled with us during April 2016
Hi Madi, We could not be happier with our safari experience, it was honestly the time of our lives. We loved that we decided to spend half of our time in Kruger Park and the other half in Greater Kruger Park. Both were very different experiences and both had so much to offer. I really recommend that you offer this combination to anyone that wants to have the most well-rounded safari experience.
In Kruger we saw the Big 5 in the first 1.5 hours. Simon, our guide, was so passionate about his job and really had every intention to show us as many beautiful animals as possible. We saw leopards and cheetahs and lions fighting over a buffalo kill. It was incredible! The food he prepared for us was efficiently made and very delicious.
Off-roading in Greater Kruger Park was a whole different experience! Tracking and following paw prints was very exciting. Our driver Carl (Karl?) and tracker Lucky were amazing, informative, and very exciting. The accommodation at both camps was so beautiful! And the staff was friendly and helpful. And a huge thank you to you too for not giving up on us when the payment was so hard to get through to you. If it wasn't for your patience we would have never had this once in a lifetime experience.
Thank you so much again!
Chobe blew us away ...
From Chris & Ray, UK, travelled with us during April 2016
Hi, Clare, Our trip to Victoria Falls and Chobe was brilliant - far better than our expectations in fact and everything went really well. Both hotels were wonderful maybe the room at the Kingdom Hotel was a little tired but it was compensated for because the pool area, the food, and the staff were all top dollar.
Chobe blew us away it was just wonderful from start to finish and we enjoyed the game drives and river trips and again the staff in the hotel couldnt have done more for us. All in all a very special holiday we would certainly recommend your company to our family and friends.
We did experience one slight hitch in that we did not know we needed a Visa to enter Zim ...it was quickly sorted and we were able to continue our journey to the magnificent falls....what an experience thank you.
