10++ stars!
From Gwen, Tim & Angie, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Clare, this Kruger Combo trip has my highest recommendation! 10++ stars!
The length was perfect; not to short nor too long (for the time available to us), and the combination of 4 nights camp and 2 nights lodge is a perfect first time experience.
Both accommodations/food exceeded our expectations; the people, in both places, were totally awesome! Simon (of course) lived up to his excellent reviews - his expertise and personality added so much to our Kruger adventure. He is definitely a 10++ stars guide! Our mixed age, various nationality group (age 15 - 65+, males and females), thoroughly enjoyed his food, company and guidance.
I will also highly recommend (10++ stars) you and your help in arranging this trip. Your attention to my questions, recommendations for flights (Jo'berg to Kruger and back) and itinerary, were terrific! Everything worked extremely well and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Your choice of the Premier O R Tambo could not have been better! We returned there, after the Kruger, and then used it as our headquarters to explore the region. Wonderful hotel - rooms (terrific hot showers), food and exceptional staff! Easy connections to the Gautrain, Jo'berg, Pretoria and various attractions/shopping. Gwen and I explored on our own (with their help), and had no problems whatsoever - super highly recommend to anyone!
Well - that's about it - you were terrific! and absolutely key to an unforgettable experience, for all of us!! Thank you so much!
I saw the big 5 almost daily
From Ewa, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Madi, I had an amazing time, and everything at Inyati was perfect. My focus was on seeing the animals and each game drive was great. I saw the big 5 almost daily, lots of leopard sightings, lions, even a cheetah. The lodge itself was very efficiently run and the staff were very nice and helpful. The area the lodge is in was great, could see lots of animals across the river and the ground were very pretty. All of the meals were delicious and there were lots of options. The chalet was also wonderful, it was always clean and had a great view of the river, as I had requested. I would definitely recommend Inyati to anyone going to Sabi Sands, and I will probably return there myself in the future.
You were also very helpful through this whole process, so thank you! You were very quick with the turnaround on emails when I had questions about booking options as well as after booking. I'm really glad I booked with you, because all the small details were taken care of and I didn't have to worry about transfers, flights, etc. That was a great relief and made the vacation stress-free once I was there, because I knew everything was taken care of. Really, thank you for your assistance. Next time I'm going to South Africa I will definitely be in touch!
This Safari trip was beyond our expectations ...
From Margalit & Avron, Israel, travelled with us during May 2016
Big 5 + 1 Great (guide) !! This Safari trip was beyond our expectations which were high from the start. Simon is a terrific knowledgeable guide. He has the eyes of a hawk and the instincts of an experienced hunter. He spots the animals and shoots them with his Canon ( the camera of course). And he is also a great cook...
Exceeded our wildest expectations ...
From Deborah & Anna, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Hi Clare, I just wanted to send you and Wild Wings a message of thanks. Due to your patience in arranging our logistics, Anna and I were able to experience the best trip of our lifetime. Our 5 day Kruger safari and 4 night stay at Dulini exceeded our wildest expectations. Simon was a marvelous guide and a great cook as well. My daughter and I very much appreciated Simon's tireless efforts to give us the best animal sightings possible from the Kruger roads. Our best sightings in Kruger matched those among the much more habituated wildlife of Sabi Sand with the exception of the lion/buffalo (and buffalo/lion!) hunts we saw courtesy of outstanding Dulini ranger Fred and tracker Martin. I am so sorry about the loss of the lower Sabie wild dog pack which we experienced personally during our Kruger safari. Hopefully, this virulent distemper strain will not spread further in the African Wild Dog population.
We had a trip of a lifetime ...
From Gabby & Stephanie, USA, travelled with us during May 2016
Clare, We both wanted to thank you and let you know how incredibly pleased we were with you and your company. We had a trip of a lifetime with so many precious memories that were made even better by the stress free nature of the trip. Everything went amazingly, from the lodges to the transfers and everything in between, we could not have asked for more. We were so impressed, especially when the change of shark tours occurred, making it super easy for us to understand what was going on and the new arrangements that were made. We can’t thank you enough and would gladly recommend you to anyone looking to book a safari trip!
It was honestly the time of our lives
From Jacqueline & Aaron, USA, travelled with us during April 2016
Hi Madi, We could not be happier with our safari experience, it was honestly the time of our lives. We loved that we decided to spend half of our time in Kruger Park and the other half in Greater Kruger Park. Both were very different experiences and both had so much to offer. I really recommend that you offer this combination to anyone that wants to have the most well-rounded safari experience.
In Kruger we saw the Big 5 in the first 1.5 hours. Simon, our guide, was so passionate about his job and really had every intention to show us as many beautiful animals as possible. We saw leopards and cheetahs and lions fighting over a buffalo kill. It was incredible! The food he prepared for us was efficiently made and very delicious.
Off-roading in Greater Kruger Park was a whole different experience! Tracking and following paw prints was very exciting. Our driver Carl (Karl?) and tracker Lucky were amazing, informative, and very exciting. The accommodation at both camps was so beautiful! And the staff was friendly and helpful. And a huge thank you to you too for not giving up on us when the payment was so hard to get through to you. If it wasn't for your patience we would have never had this once in a lifetime experience.
Thank you so much again!
Chobe blew us away ...
From Chris & Ray, UK, travelled with us during April 2016
Hi, Clare, Our trip to Victoria Falls and Chobe was brilliant - far better than our expectations in fact and everything went really well. Both hotels were wonderful maybe the room at the Kingdom Hotel was a little tired but it was compensated for because the pool area, the food, and the staff were all top dollar.
Chobe blew us away it was just wonderful from start to finish and we enjoyed the game drives and river trips and again the staff in the hotel couldnt have done more for us. All in all a very special holiday we would certainly recommend your company to our family and friends.
We did experience one slight hitch in that we did not know we needed a Visa to enter Zim ...it was quickly sorted and we were able to continue our journey to the magnificent falls....what an experience thank you.
Thank You for an Amazing Safari!
From Barry, USA, travelled with us during April 2016
Madi, I have to say Wild Wings and our guide Simon was the best ever!! Simon should get the biggest raise ever he was amazing, I've been traveling for 7mo around the world and have done tons of different tours and he is by far the best guide I've had. I have already told multiple people to contact Wild Wings and demand Simon as a guide.
Wild Wings and Simon spoiled me for Kenya and Tanzania because they were horrible compared to you guys.
Keep up the great work, I will continue to recommend Wild Wings and Simon.Thank you again for an amazing safari.
Nothing we could fault ... only wonderful memories to keep!
From Abhi & Kath,UK, travelled with us during March 2016
Hi Clare, We're still in SA but to say we had a memorable experience at Madikwe is an understatement. Although we were only there for one night, and for one evening and one morning safari, we were so lucky to see what we did.
Firstly the whole Fedair treatment was first class. Staff, pilots, facilities all superb and made you feel very welcome and looked after. A number of people we had spoken to had driven into the reserve from Pretoria/Joburg and it was a long drive - they wished they had been aware of the Fedair flights.
Madikwe Hills - the lodge was fantastic. Everything we could have imagined. It all felt so very personal and private. Luxurious with every facility/requirement catered for. The staff were extremely helpful and we will be sure to provide them with excellent feedback on our return via tripadvisor etc.
The safari, drivers and spotter - wow, they went the extra mile. We were lucky to see a great many animals on our first drive except lions. The next morning our driver rallied round other drivers out in the area, eventually they went on foot tracking the lion footprints and.....they ran back to the vehicle to announce they had found two adult males for us and we managed to see them up close. The drivers answered all our questions and gave us a wealth of knowledge.
A huge thank you to you for recommending this lodge and for putting together a fantastic package for us. There is nothing we could fault and have only wonderful memories to keep.
The highlight of our visit to South Africa was definitely the safari!
From Eamonn & Judy, UK, travelled with us during March 2016
Hi Clare, we cannot praise Wild Wings enough. The highlight of our visit to South Africa was definitely the safari.
Neil was an outstanding guide and when he found out my son was getting engaged he arranged champagne to have with the barbecue. The food he cooked was excellent and thought it was a great idea to finish the day after a day out viewing. On the second day alone we saw the big 5 and can only put this down to Neil's experience.
We will definitely recommend Wild Wings to everyone and thank you again for making our visit to South Africa such a wonderful experience.
Our safari was amazing!
From Kate & Bob, Canada, travelled with us during March 2016
Hello Clare, We are enjoyed the sun and relaxing in Zanzibar after our safari. It is VERY hot.
Our safari was amazing. We saw more animals than we could have possibly imagined. The accommodations were all good. We were the only people at Angani! The food at both the Mbugani camps was the best for sure. Don't know how they do it in a tent!
Our guide was terrific! Joseph, who says he was your guide on safari. He is very good and was certainly receptive to our wishes. We had fun with him. As we drove back through Arusha to the airport, Rose from Good Earth Tours met up with us.She wanted to know if everything was okay, and we assured her that we were very happy.
And Giraffe Manor was fabulous. A lifetime experience and totally worth it.I've attached a few photos for you. hanks so much for your patience as we changed our mind a few times. We were happy with all of our choices. It was a pleasure dealing with you.
Nothing Short of Amazing ...
From Mary & Raymond, Thailand, travelled with us during March 2016
Hi Madi, We enjoyed everything that you organized! We LOVED the two days at Kruger with Simon - he is amazing! ( We also enjoyed meeting Chantelle). We almost didn't want to leave there and go to Elephant Plains. And to be honest, when we first got there we thought it was very formal (which it is). But after the first day, with the ability to get so close to the wildlife, we were very happy with it.
We were very pleased with the hotels outside the park- very good.
We have nothing but good things to say! Our 5 weeks in Africa were nothing short of amazing and we thank you for a big part of it! Thank you again!
