Kruger National Park Area
Kruger offers one of the widest ranges of safari accommodation in Africa, from simple rest camps inside the national park to luxury private game lodges in the surrounding Greater Kruger reserves.
Madikwe Game Reserve
Madikwe offers a range of luxurious private game lodges, most of which are 4 or 5 stars. All offer excellent malaria-free safari experiences with daily open vehicle game drives and walks, superb accommodation and helpful, efficient service. Our staff have visited all of the lodges below and we have no hesitation in recommending any of them.
The Garden Route
The Garden Route is a vast area along South Africa's southern Cape Coast, roughly from Mosselbay to Stormsriver. The reason we have grouped together all Garden Route accommodation under this heading, is because most people spend only a few days in this area and may prefer to base themselves in one central location, and from there explore all the attractions of the Garden Route. We would recommend doing it this way.
Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park in Botswana is a huge game reserve and includes the Savute and Linyanti regions. However, most people refer to the region along the Chobe River in the north when they talk about the Chobe National Park. Chobe offers many different accommodation options, both inside and outside the national park.
Moremi Game Reserve
The Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana covers a vast area, including a large section of the Okavango Delta as well as Chiefs Island. The most visited part of the Moremi Game Reserve is the land-based part of the reserve in the north-east, which is accessible by air to Xakanaxa Airstrip, or by road in a 4x4 vehicle from Maun. Game viewing in the Moremi Game Reserve is fantastic all year round.
Panorama Route
There are a number of towns and villages that provide easy access to the scenic Panorama Route in South Africa's Mpumalanga Province.
Cape Town
Cape Town has a huge variety of accommodation options, spread over a vast area. We offer a selection of good quality hotels that we have personally visited and that are situated in prime locations.
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls can be visited from the Zimbabwe side (the town is called Victoria Falls) or from the Zambia side (the town is called Livingstone). The accommodation listed here can be situated on either side of the falls.
Okavango Delta
The greater Okavango Delta includes the Moremi Game Reserve, the town of Maun, as well as vast areas of private concessions or community land dedicated to eco-tourism and conservation. The lodges and safari camps listed here offer either water-based or land-based activities, or both. Many of these lodges can only be reached by light aircraft from Maun. We can arrange your flights to and from the lodge.
