Begin at Tafika Camp in South Luangwa, located next to the scenic Nsefu Sector. Daily activities include walking safaris, game drives (day and night), and optional microlight flights. A standout feature here is the mountain biking safari—a fun and active way to explore the bush.

Wildlife in this region is prolific: lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, and species unique to Luangwa like the Crawshay's zebra and Thornicroft's giraffe. The small camp size ensures personalised guiding and an exclusive feel.

Days 5–7 – Mwaleshi Camp: True Wilderness in North Luangwa

A short charter flight whisks you to Mwaleshi Camp, hidden deep within North Luangwa National Park. This area is known for its complete lack of road traffic, making it ideal for walking safaris. Accompanied by an expert guide and armed scout, you'll walk along the Mwaleshi River in search of buffalo herds, lion prides, and exceptional birdlife.

The four-chalet camp is rustic but comfortable, with spectacular views and total seclusion. If time allows, a visit to the scenic Mwaleshi Falls can be arranged.

Day 8 – Return to Mfuwe & Departure

Fly back to Mfuwe for your onward journey. The light aircraft flight is part of the adventure, offering scenic views over the Luangwa Valley.

Zambia

Zambia is one of the undiscovered wildlife jewels of Africa. The country's warm, welcoming people, and uncrowded and remote game reserves, make Zambia a top safari destination. Apart from the world-famous Victoria Falls, it has a wealth of lesser-known, pristine national parks which are home to a huge variety of wildlife.
