Stanley's Camp
Recently renovated (April 2018) Stanley's Camp is an elegant tented camp located off the southern tip of Chief's Island in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. As it's situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, off-road game drives, bush walks and night drives are permitted. Its remote location ensures exclusivity and provides great game- and bird-viewing activities by vehicle, by boat or on foot. The camp offers expansive views over the surrounding floodplain.

Recently renovated, Stanley's Camp consists of 10 luxury safari tents, each built on a private deck with views over the dramatic floodplain, and prime game viewing from the comfort of your bedroom.
Each tent is en-suite with indoor shower, compact gym, yoga bag, mini-bar and coffee station, ceiling fan and in-room safe and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Superb Setting
The location of Stanley's Camp ensures excellent game- and bird-viewing. The area is home to one of the largest populations of buffalo in the Okavango Delta, along with various predators.
Stanley's Camp main lodge is a canvas structure raised on a wooden deck, built around two large trees, with a view over the surrounding floodplain.
A walkway leads to the swimming pool which has even better views over the untamed bush.
Numerous Game Activities
Expert safari guides conduct game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, which are able to go off-road to get closer to the animals. The daily programme includes an early morning game drive, as well as an afternoon game drive which continues after dark using a powerful spotlight.
Guests can also explore the area's waterways by mokoro (dug-out canoe) or by foot on guided walking safaris.
Getting There
The camp can only be reached by light aircraft from Maun and the flight takes about 10 minutes.
