- 12 luxury, en-suite safari tents overlooking the Mara River
- Sweeping views of expansive plains against the distant backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment
- Located in the heart of the game-rich Masai Mara National Reserve
- In July and August, thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle congregate on the banks of the Mara River right by Entim Camp and make their way back in October
- From February to April, predators such as lion and hyena compete for prey
Entim Camp's ideal location along the Mara River affords guests the opportunity to watch the greatest wildlife show on earth - the migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, and antelope from the Serengeti in neighbouring Tanzania into the Masai Mara between July and October - from the comfort and privacy of their verandah.
Luxury tented safari camp in the heart of the Masai Mara
Raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River, Entim Camp's 12 luxury twin- or double bed, en-suite tents with flush-toilets and hot water showers are furnished in soft, earthy tones. Each tent has a cozy lounge area that walks out onto a private veranda which is shaded by the dense surrounding riverine woodland. The safari camp also has a tranquil guest lounge cum library, a separate bar, and a dining area which has a river-facing verandah so guests can enjoy watching the coming and going of game while they dine al fresco.
Front-row seats to Mara River crossings
Tucked into dense woodland on a bend of the Mara River, Entim Camp lies close to several major crossing points in the Mara River. Its superb location in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve allows guests to witness the Great Migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest as they attempt the river crossing over several months each year from the comfort of their verandah. At night, guests are lulled to sleep by the call of the wild - the snorting of gnus, grunting of hippos, the chattering of hyenas, and roaring of lions.
Spectacular, uncrowded game viewing opportunities
Entim Camp's superb location in the heart of the Masai Mara means that guests are often first on the scene at wildlife sightings. Guests staying at other safari camp accommodation in the surrounding area and conservancies have to first drive long distances in order to enter the national reserve and then cover even more distance before they get to a chance to see the animals the Mara is famous for. They also need to start making their way towards the gates before they close at 18h30 while Entim Camp guests can linger longer.
Sunrise and sunset are times when Entim Camp guests, guided by knowledgeable Maasai driver-guides, get to witness the Masai Mara's most important and dramatic wildlife events, often without other safari vehicle traffic around. Big Five - elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino - sightings along with cheetah and serval are common and the savanna teems with plains game such as wildebeest, zebra and many other types of antelopes.

The Maasai Mara, Kenya. Also sometimes written as the Masai Mara. It's said that you won't find a greater abundance of game anywhere in Africa, as you will in Kenya's Maasai Mara National Park. Apart from the Big Five, the reserve is home to an incredible variety of wildlife in large numbers; like the annual wildebeest migration, involving over 1.5 million animals.
