We had a fabulous time on our trip to Africa. Thanks for organising such a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to anyone travelling to see the Falls. The Zimbabwe people at the lodge were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we had all our needs met. Our guide was also incredible and a wealth of information including his talk at the ‘vulture culture’ show which together with the Boma dinner and drum show are a 'must-see'. The helicopter over the Falls was also a definite highlight!
The river cruise in Chobi, from Chobi Safari Lodge in Botswana is another 'must-do activity'. We saw an amazing number of animals up close and even wild dogs in our open vehicle safari.
Kruger is definitely the place to go to see animals in their natural environment and we saw plenty of the 'Big 5'. I would definitely recommend staying in a camp within the park and if I went back would want Happy, our safari guide, who had an amazing amount of love and knowledge he shared - you could tell he loved what he did, and there was not a single question he couldn't answer! 'Outdoor dining' was amazing and it was fantastic to have 'home-cooked' South African food at all our meals. The open vehicle safaris were definitely the way to go.
Overall a fantastic trip, and I would HIGHLY recommend Madi at Wild Wings Safaris to anyone travelling to this part of the world.
