Affordable luxury accommodation in the Greater Kruger

The camp's five spacious luxury rooms are thatched and offer open views of the waterhole and surrounding bush. The rooms have large, comfortable double or twin beds, mosquito netting, fans and air conditioners. The en-suite bathrooms come equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. Families or small groups can book the thatched Tseni Suite which has two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and a private boma. The Tseni Suite also comes with a private safari vehicle and guide.

Xanatseni's main lodge

At Xanatseni's main lodge, there are a number of open-plan lounges guests can choose from to relax in. There is also a well-stocked bar area that has a flatscreen TV, a fully-equipped gym, an outdoor swimming pool and a shaded patio area where guests can enjoy the views of the surrounding savanna from the comfort of their sunloungers. At night, there's an outdoor, open-air boma with a fire pit where guests can gather for pre-dinner drinks and the waterhole-facing lookout tower offers a great vantage point from which the wildlife that gathers to drink can be observed.

Game viewing in open safari vehicles

Game drives at Xanatseni Private Camp take place in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve twice a day; in the early morning and late afternoon/evening. Home to the Big 5 (rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard) and other general game such as various antelope species, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and warthog, game viewing in Klaserie is an intimate and unhurried experience. Because the vegetation varies from typical Acacia savanna and riverine bushveld to Mopane woodland, it's also a great birdwatching destination.
