Motswari Lodge
Motswari Lodge is in the Motswari Private Game Reserve, part of the pristine natural habitat that is the Timbavati Game Reserve. The boundaries of the Timbavati are open to the Greater Kruger National Park. Motswari is a traditional, established lodge. Reasonably-priced, this inviting lodge offers spacious accommodation in 15 luxury en-suite bungalows. Visitors can experience up-close game viewing of the Big 5 on daily games drives and bush walks.

Motswari Game Lodge is a family-owned lodge and has a long-standing reputation for offering a top-quality traditional safari experience. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as other rare species such as the Cheetah and African Wild Dog. Motswari is accredited by Fair Trade in Tourism, South Africa, and is active in local conservation projects.
Luxury accommodation and main lodge
The lodge can accommodate 30 guests in 15 luxurious, spacious bungalows. The en-suite bungalows are air-conditioned, with overhead fans and mosquito proofing. Motswari also boasts a fully equipped conference centre which makes it an ideal and unique venue for team building, product launches or corporate getaways. The lodge has a beautiful pool built into the rocks, overlooking the riverbed and waterhole beyond. The open-air lounge and breakfast areas also overlook the riverbed.
Memorable experiences
The Motswari team offer warm hospitality and excellent cuisine. Guests can enjoy daily morning and evening game drives which ensure up-close game viewing and great photo opportunities. After breakfast, bushwalks are conducted by experienced, armed trail guides who are residents of the area. The guides also offer talks on wildlife and bushveld topics. All in all, you can look forward to up to 9 hours daily of interaction and exploration within the bushveld.

By road - It is situated six hours by road from Johannesburg.
By air - It is easily accessible by a flight to Hoedspruit Airport or directly to the lodge's airstrip. We can arrange affordable transfers from Hoedspruit Airport to the lodge.
