Little Ongava

Designed with luxury, privacy and a close connection to the surrounding wilderness in mind, Little Ongava is one of Namibia's most exclusive safari camps. Set high on a hill, a meandering boardwalk over boulders and trees connects the luxurious main guest lounge and dining area with three secluded villas.
Luxury thatched-roof villas
Each secluded rock, wood and glass luxury thatched-roof villa has a spacious living room area with a fireplace, a private viewing deck, king-sized beds and a private plunge pool and sala. The en-suite bathrooms feature double basins, a bathtub, an indoor shower and an outdoor, open-air shower. The villas also have air-conditioners, a bar fridge, a safe, tea- and coffee-making facilities and hairdryers.
The Little Ongava experience
The thatched main lounge and dining areas offer views of the bush and waterhole below the camp. Little Ongava guests share a dedicated safari guide and game-viewing vehicle but private, guided game drive bookings are available on request and subject to availability. Wildlife viewing and other activities available at Little Ongava include day and night game drives in Onganva Game Reserve, game drives and day trips to nearby Etosha National Park, bush walks, rhino tracking with qualified and experienced game rangers, birdwatching, wellness treatments and visits to a photographic hide and the Ongava Research Centre Information Service.
Getting there
By air - Guests can take a private or charter aircraft directly to Ongava's airstrip inside the reserve. A daily air taxi service also connects to Windhoek (a one-and-a-half-hour flight)
By road - It's an approximate four-hour drive from Windhoek via Okahandja and Otjiwarongo. Transfers are available by arrangement from Windhoek for groups of four or more.
