Five Exclusive Villas
Beautifully appointed, all of Jamala Madikwe's five villas offer incredible views out over the surrounding bush and active waterhole. Each has an antique four-poster bed with mosquito netting and glass-fronted bedrooms to ensure you never miss a game sighting. Each air-conditioned unit has its own fireplace, complimentary minibar and coffee/tea facilities, private rim-flow pool and sala and outdoor shower.
It is possible to reserve the entire lodge exclusively for groups of up to 10 people with personalised game drives for an exclusive safari experience.
Luxurious Main Area
The main guest area has an expansive deck, a lounge and a library with a fireplace. Gourmet dining is provided either in the boma or star deck. There's a watchtower lounge overlooking the waterhole and expansive African savannah below, as well as an onsite gym and lovely spa treatment room with its own pool. Complimentary WiFi is provided at the main lodge.
Excellent Game Viewing
Besides all the game viewing you can do from almost any area of the lodge which looks down over a very active waterhole, there are twice-daily game drives conducted in open safari vehicles by very knowledgeable, passionate guides. Traversing areas include many various landscapes and vegetation which attract a wide variety of game and a wealth of birdlife.
By air - Scheduled flights depart daily from OR Tambo International (approx. one hour). Helicopter and private charter flights are also available.
By road - Jamala Madikwe is approximately a four-hour drive from Johannesburg/Pretoria. Private transfers and chauffeur-driven vehicles can be arranged.
