Overall, I have to say the experience was absolutely fantastic and well worth it, so thank you!

I stayed at both Greenfire Lodge as well as Mohlabetsi Game Lodge.

The people at Greenfire Lodge were absolutely incredible. Adrian and Kim welcomed everyone like family and gave us a really warm, welcoming and family-like experience. Isaac, our guide, is quite simply a legend and a wonderful person. I loved his stories and his jokes and his insights into wildlife and the bush. It was worth going to the lodge for his stories and personality alone. They do seem to be in a bit of a rebuild (transitioning from the older tent-style lodges to the new construction), and I would say the new style will be a much more modern experience.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Mohlabetsi. The only unfortunate part was when I had to leave after one night, would have loved to stay a week or longer. Was pleasantly surprised to know they had spa and massage facilities for reasonable prices, if I had more time I definitely would have taken advantage of those. The rooms were just incredible, with A/C, outdoor shower, everything one could want. The location is great too, next to a watering hole. I have to point out especially the food at Mohlabetsi, it was beyond spectacular and the best food I've had in a while, their chefs are doing everything right. Also appreciated Karl preparing braai for us on the open fire one night, that was also fantastic. Our driver Solly and tracker did a great job as well, we are able to see 4 of the Big Five on a single game drive! I will be recommending Mohlabetsi to everyone I meet, it was that good.

I also stayed at Peermont Metcourt near JNB. I would say the rooms are ok if a bit small, but it was great to have the casino complex and all the restaurants nearby. I felt too tired to explore Johannesburg on my arrival there, so it was a nice surprise to have the casino complex to pass the time and get some nice food.

The transfers were all very good, no issues there.

Overall a great trip. One thing that I could have done was to get a bit more information about the different lodges and hotels I was staying in, for instance it was a nice surprise to find the casino at the Metcourt as well as the spa services offered at Mohlabetsi. I was a little rushed in the planning of this trip, but now I know what to look for for next time!

Thanks again for your help Madi, it is very much appreciated.
