Eight private luxury villas
Built with local stone to mimic the curves and shapes of Mopane tree pods, all eight private villas blend seamlessly into the African bush. Infused with natural light, each spacious secluded villa has an indoor and outdoor bathroom and a private heated plunge pool that overlooks the ravine below. Villa 8 has a sloping ramp for wheelchair access.
Activities at Mashatu Euphorbia Villas
Game drives are conducted by highly qualified safari guides in Mashatu Game Reserve in open safari vehicles with only four guests per vehicle. Guests have the option of going on two game drives per day or one guided bushwalk and a game drive.
In addition, guests can also participate in one optional adventure activity per day such as a cycling safari, an ad hoc walking safari, a safari on horseback, a night drive, a visit to Mashatu's photographic hide or a Mashatu community visit.
Getting there
By road - It takes 7 hours to reach Pont's Drift border crossing (open from 08h00 to 16h00) from Johannesburg by road. You will leave your car at the border and the lodge will pick you up. Alternatively, there are scheduled flights to Polokwane Airport (PTG) in South Africa. From there, it's a 2-hour road transfer.
By air - Limpopo Valley Air Taxi offers a daily charter flight from Lanseria, Johannesburg. There are also twice-weekly flights from Maun in Botswana and Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa.
