Ulusaba Safari Lodge
"To say that Ulusaba Safari Lodge exceeded all of our (high) expectations would be an understatement. The Safari Lodge is an incredible and beautiful lodge with an exceptional staff. Our River Room was spacious featuring a sitting area, an oversized bathroom and a beautiful deck with a plunge pool. While we didn't get any elephants drinking from the pool, we did get several stop by to play in the sand and eat the vegetation off of our deck. It was such a unique treat seeing one dig a hole to drink water and play in the mud from our loungers. In addition to the visits from the elephants, we also saw kudu, impala, and baboons. The room's mini bar was well stocked with various soft drinks, beers and wine to drink and assorted snacks and chocolate to eat. The bathroom included all the various Africology amenities you could need, a large claw foot tub and a separate indoor shower (in addition to an outdoor shower)."

Game-viewing activities at Rock Lodge include morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, guided bushwalks and stargazing in the bush observatory. Guests can relax at the swimming pool or in the spa and have full access to the gym and tennis court.

The views over the bush from Ulusaba Rock Lodge
"We checked in to Rock Lodge on New Year's Eve day. The evening was planned with entertainment and a themed dinner. The accommodations and dining are exquisite. I travelled with my husband and two daughters (ages 17 and 19). The safari drives were nothing short of spectacular. We were lucky to have Brad and Harold as our guide/tracker. They are the dynamic duo!! This is a special place! If you have the opportunity it is an absolute must in South Africa! You will not be disappointed!"

Bordering Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is a collection of privately-owned game reserves which have dropped their fences by mutual agreement. Sabi Sand is without a doubt South Africa's top luxury safari destination and the best place in the world to see leopards in the wild.
