The Chobe River in Botswana is one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations and a five-day/four-night boating safari on the Pangolin Voyager houseboat is one of the best ways to experience the area.
The houseboat has five air-conditioned, en-suite cabins. Meals are served on the middle level where large sliding glass doors provide fantastic views of the river. All meals, drinks and twice-daily game viewing excursions on an eight-seater photo boat are included in the price. Don't forget to bring your own cameras with a lens collar (base plates will be provided for you) and lenses. The guides who accompany you are both certified wildlife guides and qualified photo guides.
In addition to game viewing, you can go on cultural outings to the local village where most of the safari boat crew come from and, for an additional charge, do tiger fishing (seasonal).
