Our Google map of the Kruger National Park shows its location, the main camps of Kruger Park, as well as the surrounding private game reserves, like Sabi Sand and Timbavati, which share unfenced borders with Kruger. While some private concession lodges are shown, there are many more private safari lodges within the Kruger National Park itself, as well as smaller Sanparks camps. To see the location of lodges in the adjacent Sabi Sand or Timbavati reserves, please see the maps for those reserves. We have personally visited all of the lodges and camps within Kruger, and can help you choose the best lodge or camp for your safari, within your budget.

Our map of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve shows most of the game lodges situated within the reserve. The Sabi Sand is roughly divided into a northern and a southern section, divided by the Sand River, which one cannot travel across. This meanss that to get from a lodge in the South to a lodge in the North, you'll need to exit the reserve, drive around and enter again at another gate. Therefore, it's best not to combine North and South Sabi Sand lodges on the same trip. Click on any lodge to find out more about it.

The best game viewing areas are to the north and include the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Chobe National Park as well as the Kwando and Linyanti regions. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is also gaining popularity. Most visitors fly to Maun, via Gaborone or Johannesburg. Alternatively, you can fly to Victoria Falls or Livingstone and transfer from there to Kasane. Click on any game reserve to see its description.

This Google map details the Victoria Falls area. Victoria Falls is the name of the town on the Zimbabwean side (southern side of the river). The town on the Zambian side is called Livingstone. You can fly to either Victoria Falls or Livingstone airports. Upstream of the falls, the water is flat and calm, great for canoeing or a sunset cruise. Downstream, the river creates a series of rapids as it flows down the Batoka Gorge. Victoria Falls is one of the natural Seven Wonders of the World.
