Excellent game viewing

Besides the elephants that wander through camp daily, the area is known for its common sightings of lion and leopard. You'll also have every opportunity to see the Samburu Special Six; Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, Guenther's dik-dik and the beisa oryx, which are endemic to the northern areas of Kenya. Comfortable open safari vehicles with excellent guides will take you on game drives to see the Samburu Special Six and many other species. At night, kerosene lamps are lit and Samburu warriors will escort you to your tent, from where you can often hear the elephant and other wildlife moving about.
