An Array of Activities
Victoria Falls is recognised as one of the 'adventure capitals' of the world and it offers an extensive range of activities - from genteel game viewing and elephant-backed safaris to boat cruises on the Zambezi and scenic flights over the Falls to adrenaline extremes like bungee jumping, bridge jumping and white-water rafting.
An hourly shuttle connects the lodge to the spectacular Victoria Falls, the town, the craft market, popular local restaurants and places of interest.
Besides an excellent à la carte restaurant at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Safari Club guests enjoy complimentary afternoon teas and pastries, as well as complimentary sundowner cocktails and snacks. Several award-wining restaurants in the area provide a choice of authentic African and international cuisine.
By air is the obvious choice with regular scheduled flights departing from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Flights take approx. 1 3/4 hours. A road trip would take in excess of 16 hours, excluding border control. Please discuss with us - we will be happy to arrange your flights, road transfers and car hire.
