More About Kwando Lebala Camp

Kwando Lebala Camp accommodates 16 guests in 8 spacious African style safari tents. Each tent is built on a raised teak platform and offers expansive views over the floodplains from the private deck. The tented rooms are all en suite and boast a beautiful Victorian bath tub as well as an open air shower. Hot and cold water is available 24 hours a day.

Game viewing acitivites at Kwando Lebala Camp are conducted by professional resident guides. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles are conducted each morning, afternoon and evening. Kwando is a popular destination for wildlife photographers, so the vehicles have no canopy or roof to protect you from the sun (or rain showers in November to March). It is therefore advisable to bring a wide rim hat and sunblock. Lebala, like Lagoon camp, has a reputation for predator action, with lions often taking down big prey like buffalo, hippo and even elephant.

The camp has a comfortable lounge, bar, open-sided dining room, and plunge pool with panoramic views. Access to Kwando Lebala is by light aircraft from Maun, Kasane or Victoria Falls.
