Kwando Lagoon Camp is situated on the banks of the Kwando River in the Linyanti Kwando Concession in Botswana. This camp offers luxury tented accommodation and excellent year-round game viewing. It is situated in a region where predators are abundant, as well as elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, sable antelope and many other species. The popular Animal Planet program "Mad Mike and Mark" was filmed in the Kwando area.

More About Kwando Lagoon Camp
Kwando Lagoon Camp is built under large shady trees on the banks of the Kwando River. This exclusive camp accommodates 12 guests in 6 twin-bedded luxury safari tents. Each tent offers en suite facilities and views over the lagoon in front of the camp. There is 24 hour hot and cold running water, his and hers basins, and an open air shower. Two of the tents are connected by a raised walkway - perfect for a family travelling together.
Game viewing at Kwando Lagoon Camp is done by vehicle or by boat. Daily morning, afternoon and spotlit night drives are conducted, as well as walking safaris. The camp's double decker boat is the ideal spot for bird watching, photography and game viewing from the Kwando river. Fishing (on a catch-and-release basis) is available and can be done from the front of the tent on the banks of the lagoon. All activities are conducted by highly trained safari guides.
Meals are served in the comfort of the thatched dining room overlooking the lagoon where guests are often entertained by families of hippo wallowing in the shallows. The camp also features a comfortable lounge, bar, gift shop, and refreshing plunge pool.
The Kwando experience is epitomised at Kwando Lagoon camp - personal and intimate, warm hosting, great food and excellent game viewing. Access to the camp is by light aircraft to the nearby airstrip.

Kwando Lebala Camp is located in the south of the Kwando concession adjacent to the Linyanti marshes. The name 'Lebala' means open plains, which accurately describes the open grasslands, savanna and seasonal floodplains of this area, teeming with wildlife.
