Khwai River Lodge is a luxury safari lodge on the banks of the Khwai River overlooking the Khwai River floodplains. The lodge is situated on a private concession just outside the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. It is one of the few luxury tented lodges in Botswana that have air-conditioning, and the game viewing in the Khwai river area is absolutely superb.

More About Khwai River Lodge
Khwai River Lodge boasts 14 en-suite luxury tents, all raised on wooden decks with thatched roofs. Every room has its own unique view of the Khwai floodplain from its private viewing deck. To make your stay more comfortable, every tented room has air conditioning, overhead fans and a electric heaters. There is a fully stocked mini bar as well as a vanity unit, hair dryer and shaving mirror. The private decks are equipped with a hammock and easy chairs to relax on as you enjoy the view. In each room is an electronic safe and internal telephone to reception and other tents.
For those looking for the ultimate in exclusivity, Khwai River lodge offers the luxurious honeymoon suite. It is equipped with the same amenities as the tented rooms but also features its own private plunge pool, outside bathroom with elegant bathtub, a large deck area for excellent game viewing or private dining. You will also have a personal guide available for private game viewing activites.
Khwai River Lodge offers morning and afternoon/evening game drives, all conducted in open Land Cruisers led by resident qualified guides. Night spotlight game drives are available as well as after-dinner star gazing presentations. Guided safari walks can be arranged along the Khwai River as well as a cultural visit to a local village. Some game drives are conducted in the private concession area where the camp is situated, and some drives continue through the local village to the adjacent Moremi Game Reserve, which is well known for its excellent game viewing.
When at camp, you can enjoy the gym and spa facilities or take a dip in the swimming pool (heated in winter). The lodge boasts a hide that overlooks the Khwai floodplains, the ideal spot from which to view the variety of wildlife that can be seen along the Khwai river.
