Luxury Main Camp
When at camp, you can enjoy pampering spa treatments or take a dip in the swimming pool (heated in winter). There's a large central indoor lounge and dining area and an outdoor boma for evening meals under a star-studded African sky. There's also a curio shop and a small reference library. The lodge boasts a hide that overlooks the extensive floodplains, the ideal spot from which to view the variety of wildlife that can be seen along the Khwai River.
An early morning tea and coffee service is offered before activities commence as well as a light breakfast. A full buffet brunch is served around 11 am and a light tea precedes the afternoon game drive. At sunset, sundowners and snacks are served. A sumptuous evening meal is enjoyed in the dining area or in the outdoor boma by firelight.

Our Take on Belmond Khwai River Lodge
It's one of those special lodges where you have fabulous game viewing, but can also just relax, rewind and get away from it all. Combining an itinerary with its two sister lodges - Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge in Chobe National Park and Belmond Eagle Island Lodge in the Okavango Delta, you'll get a wonderful overview of why Botswana is considered by many to be the ultimate safari destination.
