Gomo Gomo is a very reasonably priced, comfortable game lodge. It traverses about 8000 hectares of the Klaserie Reserve in the greater Kruger National Park, affording the visitor ample opportunity to experience the Big Five, up to 300 species of bird and many other species of game. Guests are accommodated in tastefully decorated brick and thatch en-suite chalets.

More About Gomo Gomo Game Lodge
Gomo Gomo is a well priced and popular lodge in the Klaserie, adjacent to the Timbavati Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park (no fences separating them). Sightings of elephant and rhino as well as a variety of other wildlife are common. The lodge has recently relocated to a beautiful new camp consisting of brick and thatch chalets, overlooking a waterhole.
The chalets are all en-suite and air-conditioned. A choice of 2 bed chalets (1 room, double or single beds), 4 bed chalets (2 rooms 1 double, 2 single beds) or family units (2 bedrooms, shared bathroom) is available.
Between game drives or bushwalks, guests can relax in the comfortable lounge or under the century old tree on the viewing deck overlooking the waterhole. The swimming pool also overlooks the waterhole.
Delicious cuisine is served in the open, thatched dining room overlooking the waterhole. Evening meals are to be enjoyed around the log fire in the boma (African reed enclosure). Kerosene flares light up the darkness and create the perfect relaxed safari atmosphere.
Gomo Gomo is 6 hours drive from Johannesburg. Road transfers from the airport can be arranged on request. Should you wish to fly, there are daily flights from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit (40 minute drive from the lodge).
Its affordability and excellent game viewing make Gomo Gomo a worthwhile safari destination.
